When I first began testing Kat’s Nip, my test users noticed a trend: cats were attacking the mail.

In houses where the mail is received through the front door, or where the mail had been placed to be sorted later, cats kept sniffing out the good-good and getting to it first.

Which is why when you order a Kat’s Nip product, the bag will come with a warning. It might seem like a silly gimmick, but I’m perfectly serious.

A roll of stickers featuring the Kat's Garden logo and the text "CAUTION! Cats may attack this parcel".
I’ve attached some version of a warning sticker to packages for as long as I’ve been selling it. One of the first reports I actually saved evidence of came in 2020.
An early report of a Kat's Nip delivery being attacked in the mail.
But my favourite report came towards the end of 2025 when a cat not only got to it first, but hid it beneath a chair for several days before it was found!

If you’re planning to give your Kat’s Nip purchase as a gift, be careful where you leave it. I’ve had multiple reports of gifts being attacked prior to being gifted too!
Customer reporting a gift they were going to give being unwrapped and played with before it was gifted.
Customer email of a cat getting into the birthday gifts.

I’ve often wondered what the posties and courier drivers who deliver Kat’s Nip think about the warning sticker. If any of them have looked me up online to find out what on earth they’re delivering.

But for my customers, I recommend you pay attention to the tracking attached to your order so you know when the goods are landing, lest a neighbourhood stray figure out a way into your mailbox!
